These little panther sports cars were supplied
by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company and ran on an electric
track that was located within the heart of the Flyer, which
made this ride that much more exciting.
Sitting behind the wheel of your own sports car was cool for
a kid. But when you have the Flyer bearing down on you it
could be heart stopping.
The course would take you through a miniature town with many
props and painted scenery. During your excursion you would
pass through Blockville, which was littered with giant children's
play blocks with painted letters of the alphabet.
At the center of town was Humpty Dumpty. This guy walked a
fine line between being cute and scary. He was pretty big
and would rock from side to side greeting thousands of children
every season. What great fun!
