Stores of the past on the Wildwood Boardwalk

But Not Forgotten...

This section of the Funchase will take a look back at some favorite stops on the Wildwood Boardwalk including the shops, restaurants and games of the past. This page is under construction and will be added to over time. Pictured below are a few classics.

A recent shocker is the disappearance of the Nut Hut. I am sad to see this one go and will miss that striking facade that seemed to scream Wildwood.

The Polar Cub was another Boardwalk staple that had two great locations. The store pictured to the left was located at the Strand Theatre Complex. The store on the right operated across from Hunt's Pier next door to the Ocean Theatre and was accessible from the theatres vestibule.

Both Hawaiian Tropical Drinks and Taylor Pork Roll were located at the Strand Theatre Complex.
